I came home today, there was a note from Mr. Postman... Went to pick it up and in my hands I held a package from Indonesia. It's from Dodi!!!
Dearest Dodi, thank you so much for the surprise package of a much celebrated Indonesian movie "Nagabonar Jadi 2" and a biography on the late Indonesian musician, Chrisye: Sebuah Memoar Musikal. I've been dying to read this book since its launch.
Thank you, Dodi! Getting these stuff is pretty much a challenge when you live outside Indonesia, so this is such a pleasant surprise. Terima kasih!!!

I've seen the movie. It's quite funny and touches upon some issues that rarely appear in Indonesian movies. It is unfortunate that I don't remember the first film at all, so I'm sure there are a lot of references to it that I didn't catch. Anyway, please do post a review after you finished watching it!

What does "Nagabonar" mean, and what is the question in smaller letters below?

C-gen - Nagabonar is the name of the character in the movie.
"Nagabonar Jadi Dua", means "Nagabonar becomes 2", this movie is highlighting the live of Nagabonar after his wife and mother died and after the war is over.
"Apa kata dunia?" is a phrase that Nagabonar is notorious for. He always says that all the time. The question means "What will the world say?" This is a very comical movie. I'll see if I can get a copy of the DVD at home next week. And that'll be your christmas souvenir!
Ovie - Nagabonar original belon keluar nih. Gua udah 3 tahun nyari2 terus, tapi belon ada aja. Atau malah nggak ada sama sekali. Lucu banget ya itu Nagabonar Jadi Dua!
